Poetry Class

I signed up for a

Poetry course

And all of a sudden I find myself unable to write a

Single line of poetry

As if fluidity depends on seeing my writing

Sideways and if

I look directly I fall over on my back

Like a fat possum and lie still as carrion.

Don’t bother me, I’m dead

Go chase that other guy.

The rabbit.

  1. Poetry Class? Evil disease!
    Original, do as you please.

Original style is the best. Yet taking a class exposes the author to other styles of writing poetry. Plus allows her to meet others who love reading and writing poetry she would otherwise have never met.

Hello Karen for what it is worth I think taking the poetry class is s worth while idea. In time your muse will return and the words will flow once more.
