How Much Do You Love Me?

I really want to know

I don’t ask just to

Hear myself shout

In an echo chamber.

As far as I am concerned

You could tell me every hour

On the hour

Put up billboards

Flash a neon sign in Times Square

Scribble it on the blackboard

Etch it on a steamy bathroom mirror

Make chalk hearts on the sidewalk

And it would never be enough.
