Bunnykin

a particulate brown rabbit

lives sub rosa

all summer —— my bushes

bloom pink with florid

scarified by thorns

the whole sprawled hither thither pounce

rabbit scurries beneath all dear

even in winter

when yards of snow hump the bustle

and angry sticks poke

out barbed and cold

this particulate brown rabbit

creeps beneath

to emerge

to bounce around the brittle shell

of freeze ——— chase and flee
