Fairy Tale

Hey Goldie I cry

lock me up. I pry out

my wrists for cuffing.

Look I say

there’s so much giving up here

a cornucopia of surrender

plethora of quit

miasma of concession.

Listen to me Goldie I spin

chains all atremble clinging–

death’s only a sin

when you look at it one way

the other way it’s terrible.

Gotta laugh right?

Hey Goldie I yell

just shake it out, right?

Shell of my shell

and all that fandango.

Hey Goldie I shout

its over, we’re done.
